He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Miller and Genevia Marshall. He is survived by: his son Joseph Overton; his siblings, Margaret Gasper (late Brian), Brian Thompson (Joanne), Stacy Ruffin (Charles) and Johnell Thompson (Caretha); and his close friend Louella Jackson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
