With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Monroe Taylor Sr. (Westwego, Louisiana), born in Woodville, Mississippi, who passed away on February 22, 2023 at the age of 76. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Taylor and Katherine Taylor; and his siblings, Josephine Taylor, Mary Freeman, Gustain Liberty and Herman Taylor, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Carter Taylor; his son John Taylor, Jr.; his grandchild Bonisha Robertson; his brother Wayne Collins; his sister-in-law Martha C. Ware (Johnny); and his goddaughter Stephanie McPipe (Lindsay). He is also survived by his grandparents, also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
