It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Ann Walker of Westwego, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on November 3, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Rudy Walker, Sr.; her parents, Warren Cheramie and Lorraine Ouber Cheramie; and her son Patrick Walker. She is survived by: her children, Jan St. Pierre (David), Marc Walker (Pennie), Todd Walker (Veronica), Timothy Walker (Michel), Michael Walker and Rudy Walker Jr. (Thereza); and her siblings, Warren, Eugene Cheramie, Joseph Burger, Carolyn Verden, Marlene Heaton, Linda Alexander, Mary Delaune, Dianne Hebert, Karen Cheramie, Toni Bennett, Charleen Berger, Trudy Rippy and Betty Burnette. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
