He was predeceased by: his wife Ellen Elaine Eugene Jones; his son Everett Jones, Jr.; his parents, Joseph Jones and Anise Jones; his siblings, Sanders, James, Clarence, Lionel Jones and Norma Jones Turner; and his parents-in-law, Audrey Lee Dixon and Samuel Eugene.

He is survived by: his children, Derron, Tamika Jones and Alton "Guy" Williams; his grandchildren, Amanda Diaz, Kendrell and Aaria Jones; and his siblings-in-law, Eva Rose Stewart Jones, Barbara Ross Jones, Iola Onezine, Sheila Ketchens (Albert), Annette Parker, Paulette Alexander, Kurt Dixon (Debra) and Tracy Eugene. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
