She was predeceased by: her parents, Stella Burns Phillips and William Phillips; her husband Morris "Pops" Slayden; her former husband Gilbert "Gilbear" LeBoeuf; and her siblings, Bernice Phillips Foti, William, Charles, Walter, Alvin, Mason and Edward Phillips.
She is survived by: her sons, Mark LeBoeuf (Wanda) and Gilbert "Lil Gil" LeBoeuf Jr. (Rayna); and her grandchildren, Jesse LeBoeuf, Cody LeBoeuf, Gilbert "Trey" LeBoeuf III, Billy LeBoeuf, Boyd Mamolo, Tate Mamolo, Elle Mamolo and Shellie Bourgeois. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Funeral Home (5200 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery (5190 Canal Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124).
