He is survived by: his wife Bertha L. Shields Nelson; his children, Bertha Thompson (Chris) of Elijah Nelson, III, Wendy M. Coleman (Freddie) and Stephen M. Nelson; and his siblings, Gorium Frazier (Helen), Ananias Frazier, James Frazier, Geraldine Frazier, Martha Curtis, Darlene Corley, Exelena McCaskill, Helen Woods, Johnny Frazier and Alma Lestrick. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
