With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Edith Ann Leco of Westwego, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 30, 2025 at the age of 83. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Lewis Rogers and Vincent Leco; her daughter Lori Ann Dantin Falgout; her parents, Varice Guidry and Velma Guilliot Guidry; and her sisters, Ruth Whipple (late Maurice) and Delores Guidry.
She is survived by: her children, Delores Dantin (Frank LeBouef), Mark Dantin and Eileen Ransbottom; and her siblings, Sidney Guidry (Paulette), Bridgette Brathbury (late Glenn), Donna Lee Meerman (late Leo), Charles Guidry (late Rose) and Clarence Guidry (April). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren, as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
