She was predeceased by: her spouse Lynn Louis Bernard Sr.; her parents, Leona Richoux Hotard and Claude Hotard, Sr.; her siblings, Douglas Anthony Hotard Sr., Alvin Joseph Hotard and Emelda Mary Hotard Fourreaux; and also, Ione O'Conner, Joann Martin, Calvin "Jimmy" Hotard and Claude "Sonny" Hotard.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Louis "Lenny" Bernard Jr. (Kathy), Trudy Marie Bernard and Paul Joseph Bernard Sr. (Charmaine); her sibling-in-law Torisia Hotard; her grandchildren, Brent Michael Baudier (Brandi), Brittney Lynn Bernard, Brandi Bernard Padilla (Charles) and Paul Joseph Bernard Jr.; her great grandchildren, Blair Michelle Baudier and Brysen Michael Baudier; and also Jake "Pookie" Hotard. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Westside/Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Westside\leitz-Eagan Funeral Home (5101 Westbank Expy, Marrero, LA 70072). A committal service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church (146 4th St, Westwego, LA 70094).
In lieu of flowers, Masses are preferred.
