He is survived by: his children, Gail Jones (Gerald), Leticher Randall (Roosevelt) and Patricia Gordon (Robert); his grandchildren, Marious, Teaonde (Jessie), Gerald, Jr., Tonika, Robin, Alesha (Anthony), Meagan (Shaun), Rhema, Jonathan (Ciera), Dae'trenei (Kevin), Darius (Terrell) and Roosevelt, Jr.; his siblings, Eddie Smith, Jr., Stella Scioneaux, Rogers Smith (Cecile), Myrtle Madison, Lawrence Smith (Margaret), Manda Robinson (Marvin), Jerry Smith (Tracy), Lillie Mae Whittington, Warren Smith and Leroy Smith; his godchildren, Joyce Lemieux, Sharon Price, Steven Broden, Marvin Scioneaux, Tyler Madison and James Polk, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Dora Smith, Ora Lee Broden, Barbara Jones (Sidney), Idell Taylor, Walter Whittington (Velma) and Rev. John Helire, Sr.; and his friend Little Zion. He is also survived by nineteen great grandchildren, four sons-in-law, one daughter-in-law, his siblings, his brothers-in-law, his sisters-in-law, his godchildren and a host of nieces, nephews.
