With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Peter Schouest of Westwego, Louisiana, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on March 3, 2021 at the age of 65. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alton Phillip Schouest and Annabelle Josephine Rausch Schouest; his siblings, Geraldine M. Smith (Louis), Elton A. Schouest (Marilyn), Phillip J., Ethel S. Gambino (Norman) and Nathan W. "Nate" Schouest (Olite); his nephew Harris J. "Bubba" Schouest; his siblings, Lena Schouest (late Tommy Goins) and Leroy; and his niece Sadie Smith. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

Guests are asked to wear a mask or face covering and observe social distancing while visiting in the funeral home.

He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana at Charity Hospital on November 27th, 1955.
