He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Cooper, Sr. and Mildred W. Cooper; his grandmother Alice Hill Johnson of Washington; his brother Ernest Cooper; and his brother-in-law Clifton Allen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Barbara Allen, Hillary Cooper, Edward Cooper, Jr. and Rosemary Houston; and his siblings-in-law, Mose Houston and Lou Cooper. He is also survived by other relatives, friends, and neighbors.
