He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bertrand and Elda Doga Bertrand; his wife Wanda Bertrand; and his siblings, Russell Bertrand and Laura Lauer.
He is survived by: his son Edward Ray Bertrand (Vena) of Westlake, LA; his stepson Mark Campbell (Carolyn) of Hurt, VA; his grandchildren, Jacob Bertrand (Brandi), David Bertrand and Ashlyn Perez; his great grandchild Evangeline Bertrand; and his brother Olin Bertrand (Nell).
