He was predeceased by : his parents, John G. Canter and Claudia Bertrand Canter; and his father-in-law Virgil "Pete" Spears. He is survived by : his wife Amy Canter of Westlake; his mother-in-law Marie Spears of Westlake; his sister-in-law Gail Crochet of Westlake; his sisters, Byron Canter (DeShelle) of Westlake and Casey Canter of Moss Bluff; his grandchildren, Mia'Jo'lie Canter, Jacie Brynn Tarver and Demi Klaire Canter; and his great grandchild Josie Lyn Sonnier.
