He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kimble and Annamae Thomas; and his brother Andrus Vallier. He is survived by: his children, Emile Peterson (Yuri Peterson), Joseph Peterson, Herman Vallier Jr. (Ashley Vallier), Jacqueline Vallier, Inez Attle and Victoria Vallier; and his siblings, Evelyn Richard, Florence Trail, Annamae Henry, Syreeta Thomas, Effiemae Babineaux, Lawrence Vallier and Willis Thomas. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
