He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Robert and Amey Tarver Richardson; his grandson Eric Lee Friesner; and his great grandchild Lily Kate Harrison. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Belle Weaver Richardson; his children, Vonda Friesner (Craig), Jesse Richardson (Malia), Sharla Watson (David) and John Richardson (Cecilia); his grandchildren, Erin Fullington (Matt), Evan Friesner (Victoria), Ashleigh Richardson (Micheal), Whitney Reeves (Tony), Lauren Harrison (Cade), Katelyn Himel (Cade), Markus Richardson (Taylor), Philip Richardson, Alex Liggio (Abby) and Aden Liggio; his sisters, Charlotte White and Julie Ashleigh; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Hebert (Dan Duncan). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
