He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bodin Sr. and Mildred Trouard Bodin; his wife Darnell Bodin; and his brother Wayne Trouard. He is survived by: his children, Felicia McFarlain (Byron) and Bill Bodin (Lana); his grandchildren, Haley McDaniel, Kyle Bodin, Candace Bodin, Kristie Bodin and Cami Bodin; and his great grandchildren, Nevaeh McDaniel, Addison Bodin and Wyatt McDaniel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A rosary was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake On (2409 Westwood Rd, Westlake, LA 70669). A procession was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 1:45 PM at the St. John Bosco Catholic Church (1301 Sampson St, Westlake, LA 70669). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
