She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Prater and Tine Ledoux Prater; her husband Oscar Jourdan Jr.; her children, Lisa Jourdan McQuirter, Versi, David and Arthur Ray Jourdan; and her grandchild Tomekia Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Betty Jordan, Alice Jourdan and Louis Jourdan. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
Due to the pandemic, the family is asking only the immediate family remain for the funeral.
