He is survived by: his wife Bridget Barnes; his children, Patrick Scott Barnes (Gina) and Michelle "Chelle" Martin (Byron); his grandchildren, Blake Martin, Kinley Barnes and Marlie Barnes; and his sisters, Betty Jean "Jeanie" Ellender (Herman "Junior") and Sheryl Welch (Donnie). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
