He is survived by: his sons, Dr. Robert Gregory Owens (Julia) and Dr. Christopher Wayne Owens (Tessa); his sister Faye Haddox; and his grandchildren, Winston Owens, Gabrielle Owens and Madison Owens. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
