He is survived by: his children, Tyra Knight (Brice), Cherie Rapier (Edward), Walt Thompson (Brenda) and Kelvin Thompson (Patricia); his grandsons, Michael Moore (Marissa), Adam Rapier, Phillip Thompson (Michelle), Keith Thompson (Emily), Trent Munoz and Trevor Munoz; his great grandchild Elliana Rose Moore; his siblings, Janie James (Roy), Leo Thompson, Robert Earl Thompson, Russell Thompson (Helen), Jackie Thompson (Bonnie) and Roy Lee Thompson; and his sister-in-law Emma Barry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
