He was predeceased by: his parents, James Simpson and Carrie Simpson; his stepson Colby Horn; and his sisters, Jane Delores Simpson and Aleta Simpson.
He is survived by: his wife Renee Simpson of West Monroe; his children, Ronnie Simpson of West Monroe, Keith Simpson of Mansfield, LA., Danny Simpson of Paradise, TX., Steven Sims of Wyoming and Lindsay Grubbs of West Monroe; his daughters-in-law, Becca Sims, Erica Horn and Ashley Simpson; his siblings, James Simpson (Tammy) of Paradise, TX., John Simpson of Paradise, TX., Ann Fourd of Mansfield, LA and Edith Young of Bridgeport, TX.; and his sister-in-law Deborah Moore. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, also survived by a host of extended family and friends.
