He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Ed Beard and Jeanette Beard; and his wife Emilia Cawthon Beard. He is survived by: his daughters, Nikki Beard Kilpatrick (Chad) and Sabrina Beard Cole (Patrick Brown); his grandchildren, Hunter Cole, Emilia Mae Cole and Cora Kilpatrick Gray; and his sisters, Janet Ross (Don) and Gayle Bryan. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
