With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia (Jenny) Platt Gordon of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Goshen, California, who passed away on June 28, 2023 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Platt and Marjorie Platt; and her siblings, Dennis Platt and Linda Puckett. She is survived by: her husband Bobby Frank Gordon Jr.; her children, David Michael Deron (Teri Sigler), Heather Blackwell (Jordan McQueen), Bobby Frank Gordon III, Crystal Gordon (Jason Bommer), Donnie Gordon and Taylor Gordon (Arielle Morris); her grandchildren, Clayton Deron, Taylor Carter, Ace Gordon, Thatcher Gordon, Kerrigan Gordon and Elijah Gordon; her great grandchild Roman Alford; her sister Martha; and her brother-in-law Paul Firmin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
