She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivy Head and Etta May; her son Jimmy Dale Caples; her siblings, Marvin Head and Helen Ruby Whitlock of Chlotile McMullen; and her grandchildren, Christopher, Tiffany and Kristie Caples.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Caples, Carol Whittington (C. K.), Ronnie Caples (Jeannie), Terrie Hauerwas and Shelia Bonnett (Coby). She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great grandchildren.
