We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2019, at the age of 97, Verdia Taylor Beach (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Fort Necessity, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William Dan Beach; her parents, Braxton G. Taylor and Malona Odell Crain Taylor; and her children, Alice B. Massey and Raymond D. Beach.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas G. Beach of Wisner, LA, Gerald Beach (Sherry) of Wisner, LA, Betty Dumas (Bud) of Sterlington, LA, Walter Beach (Christine) of West Monroe, LA, Jean Moran (Errol) of Monroe, LA and Mary Coleman (Marvis) of West Monroe, LA. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital; National Parkinson's Foundation; or to the South Central Baptist Church.
