She was predeceased by: her husband Chester Perkins; her parents, Stewart Johnston and Dovie Johnston; and her grandsons, Craig Perkins and Richard Auttonberry.

She is survived by: her children, James Perkins (Sylvia) and Brenda Auttonberry (W. H. "Dub"); and her grandchildren, Michael Auttonberry, Shane Perkins (Ashley) and Melanie Jones (Charlie). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
