With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Velma Mae DeCorte of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on March 8, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Nick DeCorte, Sr.; her daughter Mary Lynn DeCorte; and her siblings, Ruth Louise Gonzales (Joe), Gloria Willett (Branch) and Fred Couvillion (Florence).

She is survived by: her children, Gloria Koehler (Chuck), Nick DeCorte (Ruthie) and Danny DeCorte (Eileen); and her sister Doris Rebouche. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.
