Timothy Glenn Cook Obituary

Funeral services celebrating the life of Timothy Glenn Cook, 49, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, September 2, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA with Rev. Clovis Sturdivant officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time Friday.

Mr. Cook was born on March 20, 1973, in Monroe, LA and passed away on August 30, 2022, surrounded by his wife, dad, kids, family and friends. Tim proudly served on the Monroe Police Department Reserves for 14 years. He loved hunting, and fishing with his dad, son, Danyl, daughter-in-law, Chloe and even Courtney when she could. He is preceded in death by his son, Cody Aaron Cook; grandmother, Vonceil Streeter; grandson, Jason McNeil; and mother-in-law, Tina Edgerton.

Survivors include his wife, Courtney Sonnier; father, Glenn Cook; children, Danyl Sonnier and wife, Chloe, Lauren Dear, Jacob Butler and wife Dixie, all of which are from West Monroe, LA; in-laws, Curtis Sonnier and wife Donna of Orange, TX; brother-in-law, Josh Sonnier and wife Shacail of Orange, TX; four grandchildren; four nieces; and one nephew.

Pallbearers will be the Honor Guard from Monroe Police Department. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ed Jones, Randy Reeves, and Merle Dixon.
