He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Louis and Mearlie Roan Perry; his brother Billy David Perry; his parents-in-law, Oren and Juanita Atkins; and his brother-in-law Howard Atkins.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Perry; his son Matthew Atkins Perry; his sisters-in-law, Jean Atkins Shaw (Sherman) and Karen Atkins; and his nephew David Perry. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
