It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Gale Gaumnitz Sr. of West Monroe, Louisiana, born in Sundance, Wyoming, who passed away on February 17, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Gaumnitz and Constance Gaumnitz; his siblings, Bob Gaumnitz, Fritz Gaumnitz and Betty Gaumnitz; and his son Thomas Gale Gaumnitz, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn O. Gaumnitz; his daughter Sheila Gaumnitz Parks (Jack); his grandchildren, Suzanne Gaumnitz, Jennifer Shurtz, Melissa Brooks and Brett Parks (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Jonathan Shurtz, Vivien Gaumnitz and Marilyn Parks; and his sisters-in-law, Alice Gaumnitz, Vera Jean Gaumnitz, Jeanette Cook and Mary Owens. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
