With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Thelma Wheelis Massey of West Monroe, Louisiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 24, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James N. "Polie" Wheelis and Euna George Wheelis; and her brother Elbert D. Wheelis. She is survived by: her husband Terry G. Massey; her children, Gregory G. Massey (Teresa) of Eros, Ginger Keyes of Bossier City and Dana Perritt of Eros; her grandchildren, Kyle Massey (Sarah), Katie Massey, Abigail Massey, Victoria Keyes, Hailey Perritt and Hunter Perritt; and her siblings-in-law, Janelle Wheelis, Genell Massey and Dale Wheelis.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kilpatrick Funeral Homes - West Monroe (1321 N 7th St, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
