With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Syble Hammett of West Monroe, Louisiana, who passed away on November 15, 2022 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Eugene Dark and Lela Eldridge Dark; her husband Donald F. Hammett; and her daughter Sandra Ann Hammett. She is survived by: her sons, Dr. Ronald F. Hammett (Lanette) and Dr. Donald K. Hammett (Terri); her brother Paul Felton Dark (Shirley); her sister-in-law Merle Hammett Massey; and her grandchildren, Sarah Hammett Cox, Daniel Hammett, Matthew Hammett, Ben Hammett, Nathan Hammett, Kelly Hammett and Katherine Dubois. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
