She was predeceased by: her mother Ruby Johnson; her sister Ree Quaid; and her brother-in-law Vernon Quaid. She is survived by: her husband Gary Simmons; her children, Kristi Edwards (Jodey) and Kevin Simmons (Cristie); her grandchildren, Devin Davis (Austyn), Ethan Edwards, Ella Grace Edwards, Casey Simmons (Maddy) and Conner Simmons; her great grandchildren, Ryder Simmons and Halle Davis; her brother Bruce; and her sister-in-law Donna Simmons.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to McClendon Baptist Church.
