It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Susan Trichel Hastings (West Monroe, Louisiana), who passed away on February 12, 2023, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Shelton Trichel and Claudia Ann Cage Trichel; and her brother Joseph Shelton Trichel Jr.. She is survived by: her boyfriend Kenneth Deal; her daughters, Jennifer Lynn Hastings (Matthew Hammett) and Sarah Shelton Hastings Crook (Chet); her grandsons, Beau and Bennett Crook; her brother Paul Trichel (T. C.); her nephew David Trichel; her niece Jessica Trichel; and her sister Kristin Bruyere.
Susan was always such a giving person, so in lieu of flowers, any donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
