She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Dowdy and Minnie Dowdy; her husband James B. North; her sons, Mike and Ricky North; and her siblings, Dorothy Dowdy Williams and DeWayne Dowdy.
She is survived by: her son Marcus North (Patty); her grandchildren, Lisa North Simmons (Charlie) of West Monroe, LA, Jamie North (Aimee) of West Monroe, LA, Casey North Averitt (Jon) of West Monroe, LA, Mindy North Coplen (Scott) of Fort Collins, CO and Austin North (Georgiana) of West Monroe, LA; her daughter-in-law Lois North of West Monroe, LA; and her close friend Rickey Hood. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
