He was predeceased by: his parents, Stannard Sweet and Gertrude Sweet. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Booth Sweet; his children, Angela Sweet and Eric Sweet (Robin); his grandchildren, Chasity Garrison, Tyler Garrison (Christina) and McKenzie Mims; and his brothers, Fred Sweet (Sharon) and Edward Sweet (Marian). He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
