He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne J. Spears and Helen Beatrice Spurlock. He is survived by: his children, Steven Timothy Spears, Brandi Mechelle Jones (Danny), Rusty Spears (Emily) and David Womack; his grandchildren, Tyler Spears, Emma Womack, Madison Spears, Brenynn Womack, Holdon Master, Shelby Jones and Benji Jones; his siblings, Robert Wayne Spears, Karen Lynn Spears, James Andrew Spears, Clarene Spears, Daryl L. Spears, Darlene Spears LaBorde and Georgia Stewart; and his stepmother Peggy Spears.
