She was predeceased by: her husband William Breard Bonnette; her parents, James David Thatcher and Jimmie Mae Segars Thatcher; her siblings, Betty Ann Thatcher DuBois and James David "Buddy" Thatcher, Jr.; and her close friend Sybil Cotton Caples.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Helen Thatcher Cotton; her children, Sheila Bonnette Vallery (Bill), Doyle Wayne Bonnette (Melinda Harper Bonnette) and Angie Bonnette Biscomb; and her grandchildren, Brian Lewis, Julie Lewis Posey (Mike D'Angelo), Jonathan Carpenter, Meleah Bonnette Jones (Jamie Jones) and Wesley Bonnette (Katie Crandall Bonnette). She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
