He is survived by: his parents, Dr. Robert Edward Harvey and Virginia Watson Harvey; his wife Dara Harvey; his children, Robert Edward Harvey II and Alexa Harvey; his siblings, Mike Harvey (Darla), Kevin Harvey (Sherry), Janet Mullis (Steve), Jolene Roberts (Davey) and JoDee Murray (Johnny); his parents-in-law, Darrell and Ellen Harveston; and his brother-in-law Greg Harveston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Donations can be made to Shane's favorite charity Pilots for Patients.
