She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladen Hearn and Exa Hearn; her husband James W. Thurston (Snapper); and her sister Betty Ann Hearn. She is survived by: her brother Gladen Hearn (Sally); her sons, Jay Thurston (Sandi), Bill Thurston (Kaye) and Hank Thurston (Debbie); her grandchildren, Launa Liggin, Kent Thurston (Evan), Chelsea McPherson (Chase), Ben Littleton (Lauren), Josh Littleton (Cara) and Blake Littleton (Sydney); her great grandchildren, Kamryn Liggin, Carson Liggin, Celie Allen, James Thurston, Mollie Thurston, Charlee Allen, Aubrey Littleton, Tucker McPherson and Rhett McPherson; her granddaughter Hazel Lane Littleton; and her niece Cindy Brantley (Virgil). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to North 5th Street Church of Christ in West Monroe and St. Judes in her memory.
