He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Bouwel and Faye Shively; his son Wendell Bouwel; his sister Jane Bennett; and his nephews, Micah Crowell (Ben) and Lance Popovic.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Clifton Bouwel, Jr. (Angela), Alisha Stutson (Jonathon), Shelby Bouwel and Kati Guillot (Matthew); his grandchildren, Malissa, Lannie, Audree, Anaikatee, Kameron, Kobe, Kaleigh, Kaydance, Navia and Ivey; and his siblings, James Bouwel (B. J.), Stevie Bouwel (Frankie), Earl Bennett, Connie Crowell and Karla Perry (Mike). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends.
