He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Cox and Hettie Cox; and his brothers, Jerry, Tyre, Pat and Vernon.
He is survived by: his wife DuVette M. Cox of West Monroe; his daughter Lori A. Cox of West Monroe; his siblings, Ruby Blalock of West Monroe and Donald Toney of Bastrop; his grandchildren, Brandon, Hunter and Zoey; and his great grandchild Selah. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
