He was predeceased by: his parents, William Otto and Lillie Mae Parrish Truett; and his wife Shirley Jo Young Truett. He is survived by: his children, Robert Truett, Jr. (Deborah), James Truett (Terri), Pam Truett and Gary Truett (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Amanda Truett Smith, Nicole Truett, Leslie Fatheree, Stacey Truett Thomas, Seth Truett, Katie Truett, Ashley Truett Petch and Adriana Truett; and his sister Helen Truett. He is also survived by 4 kids, 8 grandchildren, and numerous great – grandchildren.
