It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Toney (West Monroe, Louisiana), born in Mize, Mississippi, who passed away on December 16, 2018, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Toney and Hettie Cook Lambert; and his brothers, Vernon Spells, Tyre Spells, Pat Toney, Jerry Lynn Toney Sr. and Roger Glen Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Toney; his sister Ruby Blalock; his sisters-in-law, Diane Toney, Virgie May Spells and DuVette Cox; his sons, Dewayne Uzzle and Thomas Willet (Michelle); and his nephew Jerry Toney Jr.. He is also survived by grandchildren, great Grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
