He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Pickering and Katie Pickering; and his siblings, E. N. Pickering, James Pickering, Agnes Guitreau, Nellie Juneau and Lilly Pickering.
He is survived by: his daughter Julia Kay Sanson Dewey; his grandchildren, Justin Sanson (Rhonda), Jarrod Sanson, Joshua Sanson and Julia Landry; and his great grandchildren, Kaden Sanson and Kolton Landry.
