He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee McPherson Sr. and Alma Geneva Taylor McPherson; his siblings, Raymond McPherson, Margaret Lowery, Edna Roberson, Doris Sheppeard and Betty Harper; and his son-in-law Johnny Lynn Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne McPherson; his daughters, Robin Gamble (Stuart) and Rhonda Cole; his grandchildren, Brittney Gamble Sloan (Tyler), Aubrey Gamble Smith (Riley), Zachary Cole and Dakota Cole; and his great grandchildren, Luca Sloan and Scottie Sloan.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mulhearn Funeral Home - West Monroe (300 McMillan Rd, West Monroe, LA 71291). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
