He was predeceased by: his parents, Eula DeRouen and Henry DeRouen; and his sisters, Flo DeRouen, Jenice Viator and Auga DeRouen.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley DeRouen of West Monroe; his son Chance DeRouen (Wendy) of Columbia, SC.; his sisters, Sara Gallineau of Waycross, GA, Bonnie Segura of New Iberia, LA and Connie Walker (Kenwood) of New Iberia, LA; and his grandchildren, Raelynn DeRouen and Caden DeRouen.
