He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Taylor and Gracie Medaries Taylor; and his great grandchild Leon Wolfe. He is survived by: his wife Annie N. Stein-Taylor; his children, Paula Gable (Jeff), Tammy Fogger (Mark), Jamie Taylor and Robbie Taylor Jr.; and his siblings, Gary Taylor and Penny Taylor. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
