He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Thompson and Emma Thompson; his wife Juanita Thompson; and his siblings, Robert, James, Cliff, Wilton and Gladys.
He is survived by: his sons, Scott Thompson (Darnell) and Tim Thompson (Jodi); his grandchildren, Braylyn Thompson, Carragen Thompson, Hayden Thompson, Dayton Thompson (Kathryn), Timothy Thompson and Asher Thompson; and his siblings, Vernon Thompson (Mary) and Doris Takewell (Don). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
