He is survived by: his wife Deborah Meredith Owens; his sons, Matt Owens and Mark Owens (Danielle); his granddaughter Lauren Freeman Putnam (Chandler); his sister Georgia Owens Andrus (Percy); and his niece Amy Andrus McLaughlin (Michael).
